Stella is a fully qualified and insured Iyengar Yoga teacher who has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She teaches according to the methods of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar, who is considered one of the foremost yoga teachers in the world. Stella has passed rigorous examinations to an international standard and holds an intermediate teaching certificate issued by the Iyengar Yoga Association of the United Kingdom (IYA UK).
The Iyengar system of teaching Yoga is methodical and progressive, emphasising detailed awareness of postures and safety of approach; belts, blocks, bricks, blankets, and bolsters allow students to progress in their practice of postures at their own pace.
